Opening up this apartment to the hidden garden though an arched doorway and large kitchen window, immediately transformed the aspect and intimacy of the entire space. The tactile use of natural materials such as limestone tiling connecting with wide american oak floorboards and the marble bench top and Spanish handmade ceramic tiles providing the  light and breezy beachside backdrop accented throughout with colour and objects to lift and add complexity to the experience. Lighting plays an integral role to the apartment with lamps and pendant lights of character living together such as the one over the dining table, a 60’s Palm tree in dusty pink which once hung in a Kings Cross boutique.​
